F41636-01-T-C0457 -- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS and SOLICITATION, 100% restricted to small business, for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information below. This requirement is for: =20 CLIN 0001: Panasonic, Model #AJ-900WA, DVCPRO50 Camcorder, 2 each. CLIN 0002: Fujion, Model #A19x8.7BRM4, 2/3? Fujion Lense, 2 each. CLIN 0003: Panasonic, Model #AJ-MC700, Microphone Kit, 2 each. CLIN 0004: Panasonic, Model #AJ-VF20, 2? EVF 16:9/4:3 Switchable, 2 each. CLIN 0005: Panasonic, Model #AJ-MH700, Microphone Holder, 2 each. CLIN 0006: Model, SHAN-TM700, Tripod Adapter, 2 each. CLIN 0007: Model, SHAN-B9, Thermodyne Shipping Case, 2 each. CLIN 0008: Model, APB700, Anton/Bauer Battery Package, 2 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Panasonic Broadcast & television Systems, Government Systems Group, 52 west Gude Drive, Rockville WD 20850-1150. CAGE 5Y727) under authority of FAR 6.302. The proposed contractor is offering a trade up credit for existing old system (ID 500824). The above equipment will be used to interface with existing systems of the same make, model, and function. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement request. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications if not already on file with this office, and must be registered in the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. An official separate request for quotation (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), will not be provided incidental to this announcement. All interested parties may be submit their offers via Fax, e-mail, or, US Postal System. The Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Award will be based on conformance to the conditions of the requirement, evaluation of price, responsibility of offeror, and the overall best value to the Government, in terms of, technical capability, price, delivery, and special features. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00PM (CST), 19 Sep 2001, with acceptance to be valid for 30 days.
