Description

The U.S. Medical Command (MEDCOM) Contracting Center, Fort Sam Houston, Tx, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Md Consult, 11701 Borman Drive, Suite 200, St Louis, Missouri 93146, Telephone # 314-997-1176 or 314-997-7383.This purchase order is for 20 concurrent user licenses for the term of 10/01/2001 through 10/1/2002. MD Consult is the only source who can provide access to online clinical reference and current awareness resources not available in any other online media, and also provides unique integration of services particularly suitable for the needs of physicians and other clinical staff.This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and FAR part 12 for commercial items. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Standard Industry Classification/National American Industry Classification System (SIC/NAICS)is 7372/814191. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. A determination has been made by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Note 22 applies.
