Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source with Tangram Enterprise Solutions, 1100 Regency Parkway, Suite 401, Cary, NC 27511 for continued software support services subject to the availability of FY2002 funds. The software support services for the software listed below include usage rights, enhancements, correction of errors and omissions, and all updates necessary synchronization in the NCC computing environment. The Agency's requirement for maintenance support is for the following software modules: TOKEN RINGS DRIVE, REMOTE DISK ENVIRONMENT, EXTERNAL FILE INTERFACE, INTERACTIVE SESSION (RELAY SESS), LU2 DEVICE DRIVER SUPPORT, ASYNCHRONOUS DEVICE DR SUPP, TPPI (FOCUS), TASL, TPPI(SAS), BASE ARBITER, AND DATA DICTIONARY. EPA believes Tangram Enterprise Solutions is the only vendor capable of satisfying the software maintenance requirements stated above. The period of performance is expected to be from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. No solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall : 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly support the requirement outlined above and; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
