Description
1. Provide all labor, equipment, material, and perform all operations to provide answering service for after hours for the 305th Medical Group, McGuire AFB, NJ. The hours of operation for the service will be as follows: Monday ? Thursday: 1630 ? 0730 hours Friday: 1630 to Monday 0730 hours The service will also cover for days when the 305th Medical Group is closed (holidays, training days, inclement weather, etc). 2. A roster will be provided to the answering service with names and phone numbers of on call personnel. The 305th Medical Group will provide a monthly schedule of on call providers. 3. The answering service will provide the following data to the alphanumeric pager: Patient name, level of urgency code (U) urgent or (R) routine, and patients telephone number. 4. The answering service will deflect calls not appropriate for on call providers (patients looking to make routine appointments will be provided the Sierra appointment line number, calls during duty hours will be referred to the clinic, etc) 5. The answering service will provide the 305th Medical Group a list of incoming calls daily. 6. The main POC and liaison with the answering service shall be the 305th Medical Group?s Group Practice Managers (GPMs). The service should be flexible and work well with the GPMs to ensure optimum service to our patients. 7. Quality controls must be in place to ensure highest level of customer service. 8. Monthly data will be provided to Group Practice Manager including, but not limited to, number of calls, patient information, acuity status (R or U), # calls paged, # not paged, and completed pages.
