Description

17. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify sole source Contract N00024-99-C-5214 with Litton-Sperry Marine, Inc. of 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901 to provide for the production of 2 (two) additional AN/BPS-16 (V) Radar Systems. The modification is to include installation engineer services and support as well as installation material. Litton-Sperry Marine is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the sole producer of the AN/BPS-16 (V) Radar System. Therefore, no other firm possesses the technical expertise necessary to perform the work that will be required by the Government. The modification will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein.
