Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price modification to NAVAIR contract N00019-01-C-0041 with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Ryan Aeronautical Center, San Diego, CA for six (6) BQM-74E aerial targets. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the proposed modification on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Ryan Aeronautical Center. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer and sole producer of the BQM-74 aerial target. Only Northrop Grumman has the technical expertise and access to Northrop Grumman proprietary data necessary to the perform the required effort in the time frame required without significant duplication of costs to the Government.
