Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for nationwide data entry support services to maintain information systems that are key to the function of the DEA. The services are required at DEA Headquarters and various DEA Field Offices throughout the United States. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: data preparation; computer operations and accounting functions to maintain the operations and enhancements of the DEA computer systems; data entry into DEA databases; conduct online updates and verifications; perform online report creation; log batch and collate supportive material, as needed; operate word processing equipment to record, edit, store and revise correspondence reports and statistical tables; capable of typing travel vouchers and invoices; capable of using the Federal Financial System (FFS); capable of compiling statistical data using DEA-generated computer reports and raw data; capable of maintaining computer operating system programs; and assist in software compilation.=20 The subject acquisition will be issued as a Best Value Acquisition, set-aside for those firms in good standing and currently certified under the Small Business Administration?s 8(a) program. The DEA anticipates a Fixed Rate Labor Hour contract. Offerors will be required to submit both a technical and cost proposal. Contract award will be based on the offerors ability to meet the requirements as defined in the solicitation. The evaluation factors for award may include, but are not limited to, the following: Technical Approach, Key Personnel, Past Performance, and Price. The DEA anticipates a single award, but reserves the right to make multiple awards should it be in the best interest of the Government. The proposed contract will include a base contract period with four (4) 12-month option periods. Applicable NAICS Codes are 514210, 541211, 541219, 541512, 541513, and 541611. =20 The final response date for inclusion on the Government?s mailing list is October 5, 2001. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitations is approximately 30 days from the date of this announcement.
