Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Services/Supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this synopsis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The North American Industrial Classification Code 541519 and its size standard of $18.0 million apply to this announcement. It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure the following Brand Name items on an all or none lowest cost basis. 1) Sony Model #DVS2000C Switcher, digital Video (1 each); 2) Sony Model #BKDS2010 Auxiliary Control Panel (1 each) for item 1; 3) Sony Model #BZS2020 Operational Software (1 each) for item 1; 4) Sony Model #BKDS2020A 6-Channel, Serial, Digital Input Board (2 each); 5) Sony Model #BKDS2031 Base Chroma Key Board (1 each); 6) Sony Model #BKDS2032 Advanced Chroma Key Upgrade Board (1 each); 7) Sony Model #BKDS2062 MTSC Black Burst Generator Board (1 each); 8) Sony Model #BKDS2041 Frame Memory Board (1 each); 9) Sony Model #BKDS6080 Basic Serial Tally Decoder (1 each); 10) Sony Model #BKDS2050 Down Stream Keyer Board (1 each); 11) Sony Model #BKDS2060 Assignable Output Board (1 each); 12) Sony Model #BKDS2061 Auxiliary Bus/Depth Key Output Board (1 each); 13) Sony Model #BKDS2071 Key Board Generator The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 27. The following provisions apply to this announcement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items must be submitted with responses. Responses are required within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the publication date of this notice and must be sent to Sheila L. Spring, Contract Specialist, NLM/OAM, 8600 Rockville Pike, Building 38A, Room B1N17, Bethesda, MD 20894. Synopsis NLM 01-236/SLS shall be referenced in all responses to this announcement. Vendors must be an authorized Sony distributor. No facsimiles will be accepted. The NLM intends to make one award on or about September 26, 2001.
