Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. NSN 1005-00-716-1300 -- Lock, accelerator stop, steel. First Article Test (FAT) applies. The item is being procured in accordance with Army (19200) drawing 7161300 and all related drawings and specifications. Solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with an estimated yearly quantity of 1,800 each to be shipped to various conus stock locations. Solicitation is for a based year and up to four option years. The required delivery is for 450 each to be delivered within 90 days after FAT approval with another 225 every 30 days thereafter until complete. The FAT is required within 60 days after award with another 30 days for Government approval. The solicitation will be available on the web after the issue date of 9/25/01 at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". A written quote is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. Drawings are also available at the same web cite or by faxing (614)692-2998 or calling (614)692-2344. Requests for drawings should include the RFP number, closing date, and buyer name and number. This is set-aside 100% for small business and all offers from domestic, responsible vendors will be evaluated. Automated Best Value Systems (ABVS) applies to this solicitation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award devision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the RFP.
