Description

The Program Manager for the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Expeditionary Family of Fighting Vehicles MEFFV invites industry representatives to an "Industry Day" which will occur in conjunction with the Modern Day Marine Military Exposition at Marine Corps Base Quantico 18-20 September 2001. The Industry Day will be held at the Clubs at Quantico in the Staff NCO Lounge from 1030-1330 on 20 September 2001, which immediately follows the "Report to Industry" also occurring at the Clubs at Quantico. The MEFFV program office intends to engage the efforts of industry to seek technological solutions to the mobility, lethality, survivability, propulsion, and information architecture of this futuristic combat system designed to replace the Marine Corps' tank and light armored vehicle fleets. The MEFFV program office and the Office of Science and Technology (OST) will disseminate formal information on the MEFFV program to include selected S&T efforts under the purview of the PM, and an overview of the activities and organization of the MEFFV program office and the OST.
