Description

The Hydroelectric Dam Oil initiative and resulting contract will provide a dependable source for ISO 68 and ISO 100 turbine oil for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer dams and other federal owned dams throughout the continental United States. Defense Supply Center Richmond is seeking responsible sources who can supply these oils on a nationwide basis. These oils shall conform to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers specification CWGS-15487 for Turbine Oil. See numbered Note 9. Four new NSNs have been established for this procurement; one for ISO 68 drums, one for ISO 68 bulk, one for ISO 100 drums and one for ISO 100 bulk. Anticipated annual demand is 370,000 gallons of oil. Required delivery in 45 days after receipt of order. An indefinte quantity contract with a base period of one year and four, one-year options is anticipated. This is an unrestricted procurement. Automated Best Value System will be utlized in the evaluation process. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance and other factors described in the solicitation. Solicitation should be issued by September 30, 2001.
