Description

Request For Quotations are to be issued by the Simplified Acquisitions Department, Federal Highway Administration with the intent to procure 18 electronic balances for mobile laboratory trailers in accordance with Far Part 12 the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitaion, evaluation and award as prescribed in Far Part 13; the RFQ will be 100% set-a-side for small business; the estimated price range will be $25,000 to 100,000; the balance shall have sufficient capacity (18,000 gram min and conform to the requirements of AASHTO M 231 for a class G2 balance; must come on site to set-up and calibrate each unit; units to have programmable anti-theft code;self calibration system; need a secondary display and aphanumeric information display; internal programming; must meet IP65 specifications; limiting the RFQ packet to 15;e-mail contracting officer for packet.
