Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a contract with DRS, 200 Professional Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 under the authority of 10 USC 230 (c)(1). The Navy intends to procure three (3) AN/SPS-67(V)3 Radars (less Antenna Group) with Signal Processor COTS Upgrade for DDG-102 through DDG-104, one (1) for Patuxent River, contract field engineering services, with an option for three (3) additional AN/SPS-67(V)3 Radars (less Antenna Group) with Signal Processor COTS Upgrade in fiscal years 2003, 2004 and 2005 and contract field engineering services. The AN/SPS-67(V)3 Radar is a Class A, C-Band radar, providing navigation, surface surveillance and limited detection of low flying aircraft. The AN/SPS-67(V)3 is an AN/SPS-67(V)1 upgraded to support the Combat System of DDG 51 Class Ships. This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subco ntractors.
