This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract of any type. The Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) is seeking information from, and would like to provide, industry the opportunity to comment on the operational application of a Specialized Support Program (SSP) concept to assist in determining the initiative that will optimize the logistical support of the Department of Defense (DOD) weapon systems program for the F404 engine and items of commonalty. This is an opportunity for industry to present alternative courses of action, methodologies, best business practices, and technologies with respect to the SSP implementation. Interested parties shall provide a response no later than 2:00 p.m. local (eastern standard) time, October 15, 2001.
