Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with additional information included by electronic notice. Electronic solicitations may be obtained at the following URL: http/www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL adress. The electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. The VA Medical Center, White River Jct., VT is seeking the services of a full time a Diagnostic Ultrasonographer to perform a variety of routine and difficult ultrasonic examinations including general abdominal and plevic examinations, evaluations of thyroid, scrotum and extremities. Individual shall be capable of performing color duplex Doppler evaluations and able to perform DVT studies, individual shall also be capable of performing endorectal and transvaginal studies. Individual shall have a current accreditation with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). All personnel providing services under this contract shall speak and write English proficiently. The solicitaiton number is 405-04-02. This solicitation is issued as an RFP. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The acquisition is unrestricted. The NAIC code is 621999. Evaluations will be made on availability, qualifications, past performance, price, and small disadvantaged business HUB Zone participation. Offerors are required to submit a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3 -- Offerors Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Item with their offer. No telephone requests will be accepted.
