Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate, under the authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a modification to its seven (7) year contract N01-AI-75320 with Colorado State University for ?Tu berculosis Research Materials and Vaccine Testing?. The contract currently provides for the Contractor to appropriately pre pare, package and distribute antigens/reagents and test promising anti-tuberculosis vaccine candidates as provided by indivi dual investigators and as designated by the Project Officer, in established animal models. The negotiated modification will provide for the increased volume and types of requests the contract is receiving for research reagents (including new, stat e of the art post-genomic analysis reagents) and the utilization of ?second generation? animal models for vaccine testing. See Numbered Note 22. No collect calls will be accepted.
