Description

The Bureau of Public Debt (BPD) as an acquisition agent for the Office of Special Counsel, intends to purchase Westlaw online service to access legal materials and on-line legal research concerning various issues related to the financial services industry and personnel and administrative law through existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the Library of Congress FEDLINK. It is anticipated that the period of performance for this services will be October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. Comptroller General and GAO decisions, and the various state codes are examples of materials required. Case printouts must contain the page numbers that correspond to the page numbers as shown in the Merit Systems Protection Board Reporter. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation documents are available. Information received will be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, which is solely with the discretion of BPD. Only written responses are acceptable. Any written response should include full costing information, as well as descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirements. Written responses must be received by Wednesday September 19, 2001. Inquiries concerning the FEDLINK BOA should be addressed to FEDLINK Fiscal Operations, Library of Congress, Washington, DC 20504. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
