Description

Desc. Install synthetic flooring to three areas of the gymnasium. Area 1) Gym floor -- synthetic flooring that will enable basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey and banquets. Area 2) Martial Arts area -- Converted from two racquetball courts, 40' x 20', synthetic non-slip surface that will provide a decreased impact on ankles, knees, etc. Activities in area will include heavy bag and speedbag work, jumping rope, and grappling. Area 3) Hallway (80' x 10')- synthetic surface covering hallway. Inspection of the site is mandatory before submitting a quote. A site visit will be held Mon Sep 17, 2001 at 10:00 AM. Quotes will due COB Fri Sep 21, 2001. Deadline for signing up for site visit in Sep 13, 2001. To attend site visit please call and advise on how many people from your company will be attending so that proper transportation can be arranged. CCR (Central Contractor Registration) is required to receive an award. If you are not registered and plan to quote please register ASAP. If you need more information on CCR please contact me. CCR registration is mandatory and failure to be registered can cause your quote to be considered nonresponsive. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcment constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: Far 52.212-1 (Instructions to offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation -- commerical items), 52.212-3 (Offeror representations and certifications -- commercial items), 52.212-4 (Contract terms and conditions -- commercial items) and 52.212-5 (contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders -- commercial items). In accordance with clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3569. The anticipated award date will be Sep 30, 2001.=20
