Description

This is a notice of intent to issue RFQ-EASC-01-15223, on a sole source basis under statutory authority 41 USC 253 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source, to VEMCO, Ltd., 100 Osprey Drive, Shad Bay, Nova Scotia B3T2C1, Canada. The monitor and p ingers will facilitate tracking of Atlantic salmon smolts in the Maine estuaries and associated nearshore waters. Equipment shall work interchangeably with existing gear and be 100% compatible with existing VEMCO equipment and data analysis softwa re. Contractor shall provide 17 each, VR2 Single Channel Monitor with Customise High Bias Format for NEFSC; 1 each, V16-6L R 256 Code Test Pinger with reed switch, channel B, code sequence Pingers for Atlantic Salmon Smolts; 70 each, V16-4H-4K Speci fications: Channel B of 69 kHz custom map random repeat rate of 40-114 seconds, implantable tags shall be shipped active; an d 3 each, VR2-PC Interface Kit. Delivery shall no later than 2 weeks after award.
