Description

Handheld XRF (X Ray Flourescence) unit for the R1 Supervisor?s Office of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RFQ R1-04-01-89 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 325998. A quotation is requested for a single line item. LINE ITEM #1: Handheld Bulk Sample XRF Analyzer, comparable to Niton Model XL-7225. Includes capabilities to measure in-situ soil/sediment measurements in parts per million Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Pb, Hg, Rb, Zr, Cd, Ba, Ag, Sn, Sb. Any delivery costs should be included in the quotation. If vendor is submitting a quote for other than the Niton Model XL-7225 unit, a specification sheet will be required with quote. Required delivery no later than October 3, 2001 to: Idaho Panhandle National Forests Supervisor?s Office, ATTN: Ivory Carr/Jeff Johnson, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur d Alene, ID, 83815. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
