Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a purchase order to Werner Frei Associates, 831 Pacific Street, Santa Monica, CA, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through Request For Quotation (RFQ) 858140. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. Only one responsible source, Werner Frei, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is on a Small Business Set-Aside basis. A justification for other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is for Software/hardware upgrades to an existing Imagelab Video Image Processing System which was designed by Werner Frei Associates. The upgrades are proprietary to Werner Frei. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by the close of business, 09/18/2001 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
