Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F25600-01-T-0086 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation that can be found at WWW.EPS.GOV under EPS FOR VENDORS, USAF-OFFICES, AIR COMBAT COMMAND-LOCATIONS, 55 CONS OFFUTT AFB-POSTED DATE. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Please refer to the above-mentioned web page for the actual solicitation. The government intends to issue a purchase order for Repair, clean and insulate Air Handler Unit #4 in building 301D AFWA 1) Repair the supply and return ducting for the Air Handler throughout the distribution system 2) Connect the return ducting to the exhaust duct 3) Clean the supply and return ducting throughout the distribution system replace all supply and return duct insulation (See attached Statement of Work). Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations and include estimated completion time of this project. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. Evaluation will be based on best value including cost and ability to meet requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
