Description

The work consists of constructing new sealed bridges and levee/l-wall systems to provide continuous line of hurricane flood protection. This protection will incorporate reinforced concrete capped steel sheet piling l-walls, cast-in-place concrete slab span girders, pile founded reinforced concrete intermediate bents and abutments, reinforced concrete roadway and approach slabs, asphaltic concrete pavement, structural steel access gates and miscellaneous metalwork. Site work will include modifications to existing utilities and surface drainage; some miscellaneous electrical work; miscellaneous excavation; demolition, including removal of existing bridges; clearing, grubbing, and landscaping and various other items of work. UNRESTRICTED.
