Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to issue an order on a sole source basis to Allied Graphic Systems, Inc., 5304 Sunnyside Avenue, Beltsville, MD 20705, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The purpose and objective of this requirement is to provide preventative maintenance services for Allied Graphic System DuploUSA DC 10000S Collator and accessories. As the manufacturer of the equipment, Allied Graphics is the only company with the technical expertise to perform the necessary maintenance services on this equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation package will be issued for this requirement. The period of performance for this requirement is for one year with one additional one-year option period. The anticipated award date of the order is on or about 10 days from the date of this notice.
