Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation documents and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The following item is to be procured on a firm fixed price basis. The specification for the K902 Telephone Access Interface Device is as follows: (1) The item shall be powered by pots line with no more than 30-milla-amp power consumption. (2) 4 microphone level inputs. (3) 4 line level audio inputs. (4) Switching input available to "Minimize" audio. (5) 2 latching relay inputs NC/NO/COM at 12v .3a or 30 vdc 1A. (6) 4 trigger inputs. (7) 4 mini 10 ft microphone supplied. (8) Shipping case (pelican case preferred). (9) Password protected. (10) Audio encryption. (11) Audio decryption. (12) Size no larger then 6.5" x 6.5" x 1.5". (13) Audio level gain controllable. (14) User interface device for recording standard. QUANTITY 23 EACH. Destination point is FOB Destination to Sterling, VA 2166. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contracts Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. Awardee must complete a SF-3381 ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer. Award will be based on meeting the technical specifications listed above, on an ALL or None basis, and price. The written quote must include price, best delivery time and product literature that list specifications. Quotes shall be submitted to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Room 3290, Washington, DC 20226 no later than September 5, 2001, 3:00PM (Washington, DC local time).
