Description

28 -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-01-T-0053 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through F ederal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This will be an unrestricted acquisition. Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001, Quantity 4 each, 6.5 Liter HMMWVV Engine, Complete, NSN: 2815-01-439-6664 Warranty: Provide with quo te standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to: Central Receiving Point, Bldg 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913 by 17 September 2001. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 (Alt I II) Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (02/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference, the following clauses ar e applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, 52. 222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration, and 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party. The DFARS clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program are applicable to this solicitation.
