Description

The Contractor is to provide all material, labor, equipment to complete the rehabilitation of the Valley Railway 2001 Track Rehabilitation project. The work consists of the rehabilitation of a single mainline railroad and drainage improvements including undercut and removal of fouled ballast, replacement of defective ties and tie plates, remove and replace fouled shoulder ballast, install proper side ditches, surface line and regulate, replace bolted joints with wielded, rehabilitate public and private grade crossings, and replace culverts and headwalls. Magnitude of this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.Project performance time is 75 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation number is I6068010083. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 235410. This project is being solicited and awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, PL 656-100, and is opened to both small and large businesses. Award to a large business will require a Small Business Sub-contracting Plan.
