Description

MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING GROUNDS MAINTENANCE. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed for the on-base housing areas described at Hurlburt Field FL. The grounds maintenance services shall be performed in a manner that will maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The contractor shall comply with all local, state of Florida and federal laws and shall perform grounds maintenance services in accordance with maintenance standards established by the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS), National Arborist Association (NAA), and the local county extension office. There are approximately 72 acres of grounds to be maintained. Performance period will be a basic year plus 1 option year. Solicitation will be posted at http://eps.satx.disa.mil/. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 5 Sep 01 and site visit is scheduled for 11 Sep 01.
