Description

The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii has a requirement for laundering services for the Naval Shipyard. The garments to be laundered are tanksuits that are contaminated with lead and may also contain cadmium and/or inorganic arsenic. Pick-up and drop-off days will normally be Mondays and Thursdays on an on-call basis. The contractor shall also provide repair services for minor rips, tears, and open seams and the drop-off days shall be extended. The period of performance shall be October 01, 2001 though September 30, 2002 and include four option years. The solicitation number is N00604-01-T-B414 and will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. This is a small business set-aside acquisition with a NAICS of 812332 and $10.5 million size standard. The solicitation will be available on/about September 6, 2001 with a closing date on/about September 13, 2001.
