Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase ord er on a sole source basis with Falcon Shoe, 2 Cedar Street, Lewiston, ME 04243. This effort is to provide the Government with Lightweight Assault Boots (LWAB). The Government plans on purchasing 168 pair for testing only. The Government is interested in te sting the Falcon Lightweight Assault Boots (LWAB) as it is a commercially available boot identified as having specific design features the Government would like to examine with qualities such as: weight, ankle support design, PU Injection/Reaction molding technology for shock mitigation with a polyester cushion midsole, specific material and design outsole, and integration of user requirements.
