Description

Notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Prime Factor, Inc., a Peregrine Company, Concord, CA, for software license purchase and maintenance as follows: OS390/MVS CLIENTS/SERVERS, PHSYPHER/DESCRYPT/EDI+, WITH UNLIMITED CPU USAGE; MS/NT/2000 CLIENTS/SERVERS, PHSYPHER/EDI+, WITH UNLIMITED CPU USAGE; UNIX CLIENTS/SERVERS, PHSYPHER/DESCRYPT/EDI+, WITH UNLIMITED CPU USAGE. The PHSYPHER application layer program is required to encode secure data while it is loaded in normal sequential files on disk under OS390 version 2 production and test MVS systems. This software performs the unique commands to keep secure data secure only for the proper audiences without the additional and costly Internet or SNA link software requirements. The software is proprietary to Prime Factor, Inc. Request for oral quotation being utilized. Anticipate FFP. Anticipated award date 10 Sep 01. Period of performance 10/01/01 thru 09/30/02. FOB destination. Place of delivery Monterey, CA. Justification and authority is FAR 6.302-1.
