Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, production and delivery of TR-321 Variant Sensor Assemblies. A five -- year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm fixed price provisions is anticipated. First Article will be required. Estimated quantity per year is fifty (50). Award based on Best Value is planned. Evaluation factors are Technical Capability (including technical approach and past performance) and Price. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business . The sensor will be built to a performance specification, not built to a print. The Critical Item Product Specification (CIPS) will only be sent to those companies who request it provided they are U.S. companies. The CIPS will be provided upon request only when the the solicitation is made available. Estimated solicitation release date is 17 September 2001. NAICS is 334511.
