Description

Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. 2530-00-741-2065 -- Wheel cylinder assembly, hydraulic brake. Used on Lunette trailers with 10,000 pound axles. Being procured in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 7412065 and all other reference dawings and specification. Exception to drawing 7412065 revision H are to delete note 3A in its entirety. In Note 4 the use of white or red inorganic pigments in the primer paint are acceptable. Use SSPC-PAINT25 in lieu of TT-P-664. Total quantity being procured is 6,815 each with 3,000 each to be shipped to Tracy, CA 95376-5000 and 3,815 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. There is a 100% option which may or may not be exercised at a later date. Required delivery is 150 days. The solicitation will be available on the web after the issue date of 9/14/01 at "http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp". A written quote is required to be returned to the address in block 8 on page 1 of the RFP by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. Drawings are available at the same web sight after the issue date or by faxing (614)692-2998 or calling (614)692-2344. Requests for drawings should include the RFP number, closing date, and buyer name and number. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. All offers from responsible, domestic, small business vendors will be evaluated. Both Automated Best Value System (ABVS) and Delivery Evlaution Factor (DEF) apply to this solicitation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
