Description

The work consists of construction of a new 13,159 square foot activity facility which will serve as a Collective Protection Annex. The function will be to serve as a positive air pressure facility providing a safe environment for elementary school students in the case of a chemical crisis. Demolition includes removal of a concrete sidewalk, 26 ft. long brick retaining wall, and a canopy over the sidewalk, The new building will comprise a pre-engineered metal structure over a concrete slab. Walls will comprise either gypsum board or cement board on metal stud walls and brick exterior veneer. Contract work will include all required site demolition, new building, mechanical yard to the south of the new building, and all finish grading.
