Description

This notice changes the response date to September 24, 2001 and decreases the scope of work. All work related to field studies has been eliminated as shown in the revised snyopsis description: The Federal Highway Administration is issuing a full and open competition Request for Proposal to obtain services to demonstrate to State highway agencies and local governments the benefit of lithium-based technology by providing them with the most recent findings and conclusions of investigations concerning use of lithium to mitigate or prevent alkali-silica reactivity (ASR) in concrete. The contractor will be required to develop workshop materials and conduct 4 to 12 presentations.
