8040-00-144-9774 UI: CA ADHESIVE: DESCRIPTION A one-part, thixotropic, high tensile and peel strength, methoxy cured, silicone adhesive-sealant in paste form for service temps to 300 deg. C. Size: The product shall be furnished in 10.3 fl oz minimum quantities in 2" x 8.5" nominal size cylindrical plastic or coated fiberboard cartridge tubes of the type normally used for this product. Loaded cartridges shall be sealed with a movable, sliding, airtight metal or plastic plunger for displacing the material. The cartridges shall be factory-fitted with integral 2.75 inch minimum length, tapered, plastic dispensing nozzles which may be cut to select bead size and application angle. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents to damage the cartridge or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The filled cartridges shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill, leak, or burst from the cartridge during use, shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution.
