On Oct. 23-24, 2001 the Space Committee of the National Defense Industrial Association and Maj Gen (S) Michael A. Hamel, USAF, Director, Space Operations and Integration, Deputy Chief of Staff for Air and Space Operations will host the Fifth Space Policy & Architecture Symposium at the Sheraton Reston in Reston, VA. CONFIRMED SPEAKERS INCLUDE Lt Gen Lance W. Lord, USAF, Assistant Vice Chief of Staff, Lt Gen Bruce A. Carlson, USAF, Director, Force Structure, Resources and Assessment; VADM Arhtur K. Cebrowski, USN, Office of Transformation; Maj Gen Thomas B. Goslin, USAF, Commander, Space Warfare Center; Maj Gen (S) Daniel P. Leaf, USAF, Deputy Chief of Staff, Air and Space Operations; BG Kevin T. Campbell, USA, Director of Plans, USSPACECOM; Lt Gen Brian Arnold, USAF, Commander, Space & Missile Systems Center; Maj Gen (S) Craig P. Weston, USAF, Director, Corporate Operations Office, National Reconaissance Office; and Mr. Keith Hall, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Space). The Symposium will also include special presentations on Air Force/NRO Best Practices, as well as updates on future space systems acquisition.
