Description

A non-competitive acquisition is proposed with The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Columbus, Ohio. This procurement is for annual requirement to register US Army EMTs in the areas of: Applications Paramedic, Applications Basic, Applications Intermediate, Re-registration Paramedic, and Re-registration Basic. Period of Performance shall be 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. Other than full and open competition is based on FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists. Responses must be in writing, including per-student registration prices and information sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement and must be received by this office within 10 calendar days of publication of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within that time, to determine comparable sources more advantageous to the U.S. Government are available, a contract will be negotiated with The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response; however, if issuance of a synopsis/solicitation is determined to be appropriate, you will be notified of it?s publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS is 926150 (SIC 9651).
