Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial equipment in support of upgrading a Crestron Video System located at the Pentagon. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to issue solicitation number F4010111900100 as a request for quote (RFQ) and will result in a Firm Fixed price contract. The period of performance will start within 10 days after award of CLINS. Award will be made on an all or none basis. The award date is expected to be not later than 18 Sept 01. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. The negotiation authority for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The NAICS Code for this requirement is 42143, and the size standard is $10,000,000.00. This requirement is for AIR FORCE PENTAGON COMMUNICATION AGENCY (AFPCA) located at 1600 Air Force Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. This requirement is to provide Crestron Ethernet Capable Integrated Control System , color touch panels and associated equipment to upgrade Crestron Video System. The contract line items are CLIN 0100- Crestron CNMSX-PRO (Control Rack 10/100 Base T Ethernet capable integrated control system) Qty 6 each. CLIN 0101- Crestron TPS-6000 (Touch Panel, ISYS touch panel control system) Qty 5 each. CLIN 0102- Crestron CNMK (Keyboard/mouse controller) Qty 3 each. CLIN 0103, Crestron TPS-VID (Video Module Card for ISYS TPS-6000) Qty 6 each. Additionally, the offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (ALT I) (FEB 2001), and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), with its offer. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Contractors may register in the CCR by visiting the CCR website at www.ccr2000.com . Solicitation closing date is 17 Sep 01. All proposals must be received by 10:00 a.m. EST.
