Description

Notice of Intent Title: Cooperative Agreement between FHWA and Metropolitan Service District (METRO) in Portland, Oregon. Purpose: This is a notice of intent by the FHWA to award a sole source, cost-sharing cooperative agreement to the Metropolitan Service District (METRO) in Portland, Oregon to complete field-testing of the Transportation Analysis and Simulation System (TRANSMIS) at METRO and the implementation of TRANSMIS by METRO. METRO began field testing TRANSMIS in 1997. Due to their extensive experience and data collected as part of the initial field-testing, METRO has the unique ability to continue the testing and implementation process for this new travel forecasting system. This is not a request for proposals or applications for Federal assistance. See Note 22
