Description

Proposed commercial item requirement is to procure COMPAQ manufactured equipment only on a firm fixed price type contract. The procurement consists of 36 each COMPAQ 3X-76U93-AX Dual GS140 6/525 SMP Module, 23 each COMPAQ 3X-764P1-AX, GS140 Dual 6/700 SMP Module, and 7 each COMPAQ MS7CC-EA 1GB Memory Module Upgrade Boards in support of the upgrade of 3node AS84XX Alpha Servers. These systems will provide IT support to Defense Medical administrative operations. In an effort to maintain uniform/standardized equipment and software interoperability with existing systems, the following prerequisites apply to this procurement: (1) Provider must be an Authorized Factory reseller of COMPAQ equipment; (2) All material must be manufactured by COMPAQ, ; (2) All material must be in "new" or "un-used" condition never having been sold or leased to an end-user; (3) All material must be under full "new equipment" COMPAQ manufacturer warranty; and (4) All equipment must be delivered to SPAWAR SYSCEN-Charleston NLT 9/30/01.
