Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a purchase order to the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions to conduct two conferences in the Washington, DC area. The conferences will focus on Integrating Transportation, Energy, and Air Quality. FHWA plans to co-sponsor these two conferences along with the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency. The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions has held other conferences with energy and environmental officials to discuss how to work together to develop coordinated approaches on key issues. In order to move forward and take action it was recommended that transportation officials get involved in the next scheduled conferences. Because of this information and because the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions will be holding these conferences, they are the only known source who can do this work. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about September 12, 2001.=20
