Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. Armoire, Solid Hard Wood, 3 or 4 drawers w/one easy to grip handle per drawer, opening to accomodate 27" TV. Height to top of top drawer 34-36", Measurements (approx.) 34.5W X 67"H X 23.25"D on locking wheels. Prefer light color stain. Handle must be suitable for gross motor control. Contractor must provide dimensions of unit, brand name, solid hard wood (oak or other, specify). Requirement is for forty four (44) each. TV opening must be at eye level for persons laying in bed or sitting in chair. Contractor to provide pictures, descriptive literature, etc. so the government can evaluate item to be provided. Prospective contractors must respond prior to close of business September 17, 2001. FAX (228) 897-4251 or e-mail (usnh.contracts@afrh.gov) are acceptable. Contractor must also provide contract number (if applicable), delivery time, payment terms, business size, and any other pertinent information for evaluation. Items to be delivered to the U.S. Naval, 1800 Beach Drive, Gulfport, MS on an FOB Destination basis. The Following FAR clauses apply to this synopsis/RFQ and any subsequent award: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commerical Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Evaluations will be based on price or price related factors); 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commericial Items (Offerors must submit a completed copy with their offer)(e-mail usnh.contracts@afrh.gov to request full text copy); 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Coonditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerical Items; FAR 52.247-34 F.O.B.
