Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is hereby seeking sources to provide product materials relating to a commercially available centralized and shared comprehensive case information/evidence tracking system. A potential requirement exists with the FBI's Laboratory Division for a Laboratory Information Management System which meets all American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors -- Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLAD-LAB) standards. The FBI has available a draft functional requirements specification document to further clarify the potential Laboratory Information Management System's requirements. This document is available, via written request, from the referenced Contracting Officer. Contractors which have an interest in this document should have a top secret clearance. The written request should be on company letterhead and include the name and telephone number of the organization's Security Officer. In addition, product literature illustrating the suggested commercial Laboratory Information Management System must be submitted with the letter. This announcement is for determining the availability of products/servcies available in the commercial market place. This announcement and draft specification document does not commit the Government to award a contract. Telephone calls are not accepted as no solicitation document exists.=20
