The 375th Contracting Squadron will issue a brand name purchase order for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS NOTICE IS THE SOLICIATION DOCUMENT. All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". This is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. Scott AFB IL intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items for the purchase of the following Brand Name Items:=20 KG-175 TACLANE Release 1.0 with AC power, PN: TL-49470-1, and=20 KG-175 TACLANE Release 1.0 Ancillary kit, PN: TL-49471-1. =20 The North American Industry Classification Code is 421430, and the small business standard is 100. The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov/. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions of Offerors-Commercial Items is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer on Company Letterhead to 375 CONS/LGCB, 201 E Winters St Bldg 50, Scott AFB IL 62225-5015 at or before 1600 (4:00 p.m. CDT), 30 Aug 01. Quotation may be submitted via FAX (618)256-5237 to Helen Billhartz, or e-mail Helen.Billhartz@scott.af.mil. Evaluations will be performed in accordance with provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Offerors need to complete the provision 52.212-3, the Representation and Certification, and submit it with their quotation. Late quotations will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is incorporated by reference with the following addenda: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration.
