Description

The General Services Administration intends to award a contract to KOR Electronics, Inc., Garden Grove, CA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-01-JMT-0220. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to repair and upgrade the existing Millimeter Wave Electronic Threat Simulator (METS) Model 1033 at the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, manufactured by KOR Electronics, Inc. The project will be done in two phases and the estimate dollar value of both phases is approximately $450,000. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m., CST, 09/04/01 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
