Presolicitation Notice=20 Date Submitted: 27-AUG-2001 OC-ALC/LPDPB DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AE1/106C TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032=20 28 -- DUCT, EXHAUST, TURBINE ENGINE SOL F34601-02-R-48577 DUE 101701 Rob Lafollette/Lpdpb/[405]734-8096, For additional information contact Rob Lafollette/Lpdpb/[405]734-8096 Item 0001 NSN 2840-01-146-7573JF P/N: 5050M17G04, P/N 5051M17G04 Of the augmenter mixer: it encircles the aft centerbody of the turbine frame, consists of 28 chutes with Fuel injection bosses, and an igniter sleeve. The function of the mixer is to provide support for the flameholder, igniter housing and inner ends of the core and fan fuel nozzles, and directs fan discharge air inward to mix with the core engine exhaust gases. The dimensions are (approx) 18 in. deep, front dia. 35 in., aft. Dia. 46 in. Matl. Consists of b50tf14 Cl-a/ams 5537 3EA. Applicable to: F101 Eng. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 28 Feb 2003 3 ea Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001 The approximate issue/response date will be 16 SEP 2001. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. First article test required. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
