Description

DESC: Tractor, Coeur d Alene Nursery, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-01-84 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 333111. A quotation is requested for four (4) line items. LINE ITEM 1, One John Deere model 4300 diesel powered tractor (or equivalent), equipped with the following specifications: 3-range, infinite speed hydrostatic transmission, 32 gross horsepower, 27 horsepower PTO, 4-wheel drive, foldable ROPS, industrial read tires (28 x 8.50 ? 14 front and 15 ? 19.5 rear), engine coolant heater, rear worklight kit, category 1 3-point hitch with telescoping lower arms. LINE ITEM 2: One John Deere model 430 loader (or equivalent) equipped with mounting brackets, dual hydraulics, hood guard, quick-tach heavy duty 72-inch bucket with replaceable edge. LINE ITEM 3: One quick-tack pallet fork to fit John Deere model 430 loader (or equivalent). LINE ITEM 4: One John Deere model 47 backhoe (or equivalent) equipped with mounting brackets, power-beyond hydraulic kit, flip over stabilizer pads for street and field use and a 20-inch bucket. Available service on equipment must be within 50 miles of Coeur d Alene, ID. All delivery costs should be included in the quotation. Required delivery no later than September 28, 2001 to: Coeur d Alene Nursery, ATTN: Aram Eramian, 3600 Nursery Road, Coeur d Alene, ID, 83815. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
