Description

Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Business Center intends to contract on a sole source basis the services of consultant Paul Balserak for services to provide expertise and assistance to the National Business Center's Chief, Division of Budget Administration. The services provided will include assisting in documenting procedures for analyzing, tracking and managing the Department's receipt accounts and its employment levels (FTE). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to the proposed contractor without further notice.
