Description

The National Park Service at Steamtown National Historic Site intends to procure on a sole source basis two Ingersoll-Rand EP40SE air compressors. This rotary-screw compressor with Star-Delta starter, Intellisys Controller, modulation control is compatible with extensive existing equipment, and will provide seamless service to the air distribution systems throughout the park. Delivery of the compressors must be made by a qualified technician for installation, start-up procedures, and maintenance training to on-site employees. This is a sole source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitations or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, responses received by COB 9/14/01 from other responsible sources will be evaluated. The anticipated date of award is 9/15/01.
